We wanted to create the softest throw.
Incredible and yet… We have managed to develop a very soft AND machine-washable throw, super well made, in an elegant and contemporary style, perfect on our sofas with a good film or as decoration on our bed. After 1 year of development and more than 20 prototypes, a small feat has been achieved: our Bonsoirs plaid ticks all the boxes (and even more!) How did we do it? Explanations ☺
We wanted to create the softest throw.
High-flying, supple and enveloping upholstery
We wanted to rediscover the suppleness and softness of a truly top-of-the-range throw, ultra soft and well enveloping, while guaranteeing easy maintenance, without having to go through the dry cleaners. After 20 prototypes and numerous tests carried out by the entire product team, we have developed the padding, which we believe is ideal, environmentally friendly and resistant to washing, in 100% recycled polyester fibers, certified GRS Global Recycled Standard.

Because with a little touch of washed linen, our living room immediately becomes cool and stylish, we have chosen a 160gr/m2 washed linen envelope, strong enough not to let the filling come out of its envelope, and light enough for the plaid is very flexible and breathable.

Don't be fooled by the sobriety of this throw: it took no less than 4 seamstresses per throw and an almost manual technique, just for the finishing touches! We have chosen a contemporary and resistant tone-on-tone topstitching, as well as a calm, warm and timeless color range. Result: this plaid will fit perfectly in the bedroom or living room. And it even goes well with our washed linen sets for a perfect mix & match!

Where is the Bonsoirs washed linen throw made?
To guarantee top-of-the-range quality, the washed linen throw is made from 100% French linen in the historic cradle of Portugal by craftsmen endowed with centuries-old know-how.
How to take good care of your washed linen throw?
We recommend a gentle wash at 30° (max 40°) with liquid detergent and a gentle spin at 800 rpm, to avoid damaging the fibre.
To keep the blanket very soft, prefer a short passage in the dryer on a gentle cycle, then finish drying in the open air, flat.
The washed Linen plaid does not require any ironing, but if you insist on it, iron your plaid when it is still slightly damp, never completely dry.
