It's all thanks to you!

So thanks ! Because there is a little (a lot) of you in this crazy project: in the spring, we asked you to empty your cupboards. Our objective ? Recover as many end-of-life towels as possible in order to recycle them and create new ones. We are delighted to present our very first recycled towels!

It's all thanks to you!

As soft as they are durable.

Our recycled towels are made of 70% recycled cotton and the remaining 30% correspond to various fibers - recycled of course - such as lyocell and viscose. These are used to provide maximum softness, while guaranteeing you super resistance over time.

As soft as they are durable.

For this project, we have selected a brand new partner in Portugal, located in the Porto region. Once the collection has been received, your old towels have been sorted by color, then shredded according to the rules of the art by our partner in Portugal. The raw material obtained was then re-spun and woven to create these brand new soft towels in a mottled style that we love!

And on the maintenance side?

Our bath towels are not complicated: regular washing at 40° is sufficient to preserve their fibres. On the other hand, avoid succumbing to fabric softener: in the long term, the latter makes the towels rougher by forming a film around the fibers which prevents the absorption of water. So prefer white vinegar instead ;-) And if you have a dryer, don't hesitate to give them a little turn at 60°: your towels will come out all soft and fluffy!

And on the maintenance side?

The opinions of our customers

You can
repeat the question..?

Your towel is very resistant but take care of it all the same. Regular washing at 40° is sufficient to preserve the fibers (and the planet). If you can, wash your towels separately. With your sheets Bonsoirs still passes (but she never makes friends with the zips, flys and other hooks!). Avoid succumbing to fabric softener: a towel that does not dry would be a shame. And if you have a dryer, don't hesitate to give it a 60° turn. It will come out softened, supple and re-pulped.

Little bonus: iron your towel ;)

Recycled towels are made in Portugal. We have selected the best partner to take up the challenge of recycling old towels, a challenge met with flying colors!

The Bain Recyclé range is GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified and contains no harmful substances.

The Bain Recyclé range is made from 70% recycled cotton, 12% recycled polyester, 7% recycled lyocel, 6% recycled viscose and 5% other fibres. All these fibers come from harvesting used products. A good part of the fibers comes from our big harvest last spring, where our customers could send used and rough towels to give them a second life. The fibers were harvested, cleaned, sorted and then re-woven to obtain these new towels!
