How to maintain the Alpaca blanket?
We do not recommend machine washing: head to the dry cleaners for dry cleaning! Indeed, Alpaca Wool cannot withstand temperature variations and intense spinning which would cause it to felt.
Where is the Alpaca blanket made?
All our Alpaca throws are hand-woven in Bolivia, in collaboration with TRU Sustainable Handmade, an organization ensuring responsible production with a positive social impact. The weaving techniques used by these Bolivian women come from ancestral methods, passed down from generation to generation.

Don't be fooled by its fineness, Alpaca wool is very insulating and even 7 times warmer than sheep wool.
