Stone, sheet, Paper… Tiger! When the universe of Bonsoirs mixes & matches with the touch of Papier Tigre... It's Grrr.
With this same desire to move the lines, our two brands are joining forces to create a high-end capsule collection at the crossroads between the colorful universe of one and the timeless spirit of the other...
Bonsoirs partners with the kings of stationery…
Papier Tigre is THE brand that revisits all office essentials. From notebooks to tailor-made diaries, the collections are made in Paris from recycled paper and cardboard.
I discovered the collab >
Good evening - 3 words to describe your style...
Tiger Paper – Creative, graphic and functional!
Good evening - Where does your inspiration come from?
Paper Tiger – Everything, all the time! We have a curiosity that drives and stimulates us. And that’s how we find inspiration. We find ideas at home, at the museum, in the street - from Paris to Tokyo, via Normandy.
A happy medium between the very refined universe of Bonsoirs
and the graphic side of Papier Tigre!
Papier Tigre – We have been looking for a collaboration idea with Bonsoirs for a long time because our values are similar. It remained to find a happy medium between their very refined universe and our graphic side!
Nicolas – It all started when we said to ourselves that we wanted to give “white duvet” and free expression to a brand to create an exclusive model of sheets. The entire Bonsoirs team loves Papier Tigre and has been using the Grrr team's notebooks and pens for a long time. Their style is fresh, fun, designer and in tune with the times. Everything we were looking for!
Good evening - What particularly appealed to you in your respective worlds?
Papier Tigre – The timeless, “timeless” side. A Bonsoirs set can remain a must for years, both in terms of style and quality!
Nicolas – First of all, they are super nice! :) This is important when we want to work together on a project that brings together two brands. Then we really like their style, the color combinations they use. For us, they are both fashionable and avant-garde.
Good evening - Why a collab now?
Papier Tigre – Because in spring, we sort our closets, we change materials, we do our seasonal cleaning... The collab' has put a fresh spin on the Bonsoirs collections as well as those of Papier Tigre.
And with confinement, it’s even better! The opportunity to redo our decor, and with the time we spent in our sheets…
Nicolas – Spring was the perfect timing. And the fresh tones of this collab perfectly matched this spring atmosphere of sunny days.
So it was the “dream” opportunity to get started!
Good evening - How did you construct the universe of the collab?
Tiger Paper – Its patterns, its colors and the dream notebook! The graphics use the lines and squares of Papier Tigre notebooks. The colors are faithful to the Bonsoirs universe: refined, pastel shades that match well with each other!
The dream notebook is the Papier Tigre touch that finalizes the collaboration... A notebook that we had been talking about for a while between us when we debriefed our dreams from the day before, so it was the "dream" opportunity to throw !
Nicolas – It should be noted that we spent a lot of time together to prepare this collaboration so that it corresponds as best as possible to our two worlds. The pattern had to be contemporary, sober with a touch of originality and with beautiful colors. The tiles came naturally because they are a nod to the Papier Tigre notebooks. The stripes soften the pattern while adding elegance and color. And when you combine stationery and sleep, a dream notebook is definitely a MUST!
Good evening - Your favorite set? For what ?
Julien – The blue one, for the striped/sailor side. A bit like a vacation by the water!
Maxime – The pale pink/sea green, which adds a little color to my room while remaining soft.
Nicolas – The one with the green stripes and the pink bi-taste face. It recalls the colors that Papier Tigre uses for one of its star pens, it is original with pep while remaining sober and timeless. All that I love.
And when it comes to Zzzz...
Good evening - Rather small or heavy sleepers?
Maxime – BIG sleeper.
Julien – DEEP sleeper.
Nicolas – Big sleeper. Without a doubt !
Good evening - Day or night bird?
Julien & Maxime – Birds of the day (with quite a few cafes)!
Nicolas – Night owl before, day owl now ;)
Good evening - Your ritual before going to bed?
Maxime – I turn off my phone, nothing can happen.
Julien – I brush my teeth, then I grab my bedside book. I hold 3 lines…
Nicolas – I remember the day I just had (without getting too analytical), remember the positive things, and prepare my “to do” for the next one.
Good evening - The first thing you do when you wake up?
Maximum – 1000 push-ups. No that's not true - I brush my teeth.
Julien – COFFEE!
Nicolas – I open my eyes!
Good evening - Are your nights more: 'A long quiet river' or 'Back to the future'?
Maxime – A long, quiet river, until my dog wakes me up.
Julien – A long, quiet river, but an awakening in the future!
Nicolas – Normally a long calm river but which is regularly agitated at the moment with the children.
Good evening - Rather big or small dreamers?
Maxime – A little dreamer, but I'm going to practice with the dream book.
Julien – A big dreamer I think, but I sleep too heavily and wake up too difficult to remember it clearly. I'm also counting on the dream book to remedy this!
Nicolas – It depends on the phases. But I love waking up and remembering my dream. When I make one, I tell it right away so I don't forget it. But that was before the dream book ;)
Good evening - Your advice for sleeping well?
Maxime – Sport has a powerful effect on me for easy and peaceful sleep.
Julien – Alcohol and drugs. Radical (laughs).
Nicolas – Avoid screens in the evening (easy to say), go to bed at a regular time, lower the temperature in your room and of course slip into soft sheets :)
Rêve Party (ultra) limited edition!
