We give you some tips to make you feel more relaxed before going to sleep.
Sleep has become THE priority subject, an obsession, one of our main concerns. Because sleeping well means feeling better and more productive. A key moment to have intense days and perform well!
In less than 50 years, our nights have become shorter and we spend nights of less than seven hours compared to more than eight hours before! Most of us neglect this special moment a lot. Indeed, sleep is a very rich time which allows our brain to regenerate and our body to replenish its energy.
“You really don’t look good today…”, “Haven’t you gained a little weight…? » - Here are the unfortunate consequences of lack of sleep. Don't panic, if you follow these few tips to sleep better, you will already feel more relaxed!
1. Avoid blue light
Between us, we know that we can't help but look at the latest Instagram news before going to sleep... The best thing would be to try as much as possible to disconnect from screens before sleeping. Your brain will stay awake because it will not understand that you are in a moment where it is time for you to sleep.
2. Choose a good temperature
It's time to sleep, so choose a good temperature to slip into your cozy duvet cover . The recommended temperature is 15 to 19 degrees, so that you can fall asleep in ideal conditions.
3. Respect your sleep cycles
Very important ! If the urge comes to you, and of course you are in the condition to be able to go to bed, don't resist. Every 90 minutes we have a highlight moment where we can fall asleep and if we miss it, we'll have to wait two hours for it to come back. Concerning waking up, it's the same thing. If you wake up feeling good, before our famous ritual of pressing “snooze” a good ten times, don’t try to go back to sleep. You will go back into a 90-minute cycle that you will not be able to complete, waking up on your left foot.

4. Darkness and silence
Indeed, reducing the light is a preamble to sleep, because darkness signals to our brain that it is time to sleep. Also immerse yourself in a relaxing and calm environment, conducive to sleep.
5. Eat a light dinner and not too late
The situation: in front of your app, a multitude of choices of burgers, good dishes... Don't give in! We let ourselves be tempted, but rather for lunch! A light dinner is recommended, not too late in the evening. You should also avoid eating dinner at irregular times so as not to disrupt your sleep cycles .
6. No sport in the evening
Summer is certainly approaching, my dear ones… However, practicing regular physical activity will allow you to sleep better! It is recommended to practice sport approximately five times a week, for 20 to 30 minutes, but not before sleeping.
These activities are accompanied by profound hormonal changes, a state not really conducive to that in which we are in the arms of Morpheus, which is that of a calming of the body.
7. Empty yourself of everyday worries
The day was terrible, we still have the image of the pile of files on our desk that we were unable to process and our boss was a real… Let's stay polite and stay calm!
It is important to calm your mind before sleeping, as stress is one of the most common factors in insomnia or disturbed sleep. We then advise you to do some breathing exercises or even meditation to escape all these daily nuisances.
8. Good bedding and sheets that make you feel good
Because you deserve 5-star comfort and a good night's sleep, we are here so you can say to yourself every evening " Good evening , I'm going to bed".
With these tips, you should no longer have problems sleeping well ;)
