How to reuse old sheets?

2. Make a picnic blanket

A spilled glass of red wine, the pâté falling out of a sandwich or little Lucas's feet full of dirt… here are so many occasions not to take out your beautiful blanket on great country occasions. Without spending a penny and fully enjoying a moment outdoors, take your sheets under your arm and don't be afraid to get them dirty!

Are you invited to a Halloween party but don't want to spend a fortune on a costume or be the only person without a disguise? Don't panic, we have the solution! With a little imagination and a pair of old bed sheets (white if possible), the problem of the costume will be solved quickly and inexpensively!

3. Create a costume for Halloween

The classic and quick solution: the ghost. Put a sheet on your head, two or three scissors, a little personalization and you're done!

Otherwise, you can choose to transform yourself into a Greek/Roman deity by creating a toga with a sheet and adding some accessories.

Less glam but still perfect for Halloween, cut your sheets into strips (stronger than toilet paper) and turn yourself into a mummy for an evening!

4. Make Kitchen Cloths

Cut your old sheets into small squares and put them away so that you have them to hand (an incident can happen quickly). Very practical for cleaning or manual workshops, no risk of feeling guilty if you have to throw them away!

5. In winter, protect your plants from frost

They are like us. They hate the cold! To avoid having to throw away your beautiful lovingly pampered plants, cover them with your old sheets to protect them during the long cold winter nights.

6. Make a cinema at home

7. Make cabins at home

A birthday party at home or just a lack of idea to occupy your little darlings? It's time to let their imaginations run wild. Take the old (clean) sheets out of the closet and invite them to build a cabin at home (or in the garden). Whether it's a fortified castle or a palace fit for a princess, they're busy for the rest of the day! Phew!

8. Turn your sheets into beach blankets

Give new life (and a vacation) to your sheets by turning them into beach blankets. The perfect weight and dimensions for a moment of idleness in the sun.
